We sat down with DB Blades a MRC Industries client to discuss their knife production business and how we have helped them by taking care of their water jet cutting needs.

Tell us about your business and the industry you are in

DB Blades is one of the top knife producers in Australia, being featured on numerous magazines including Blade magazine, Australian Knife magazine and international magazines in France and Germany.

DB Blades manufactures high end folding and fixed blade knifes from waterjet cut blanks cut by MRC Industries.

Why do you like working with MRC Industries?

The materials required to manufacture high end knifes aren’t cheap. We use tool steels, Martensitic Stainless steel and Titanium so we need someone that we can rely on and know that they aren’t going to make costly mistakes.

How long have you been dealing with MRC Industries and what made you reach out to MRC Industries in the first place

Originally MRC sent me a message on Instagram and the relationship built from there this was about 5 years ago now.
